A talk show, and the work that came out of it.
The Kitusawa Capital Show is the centre of this platform. Around it sit the stories people send in, the guests who answer for what they teach, and the questions the channel keeps coming back to.

Kitusawa Capital Show
What grew out of it
To give people a voice, share authentic experiences, challenge perspectives, and inspire individuals and communities to create a better future.
Real Stories, Real People, Real Life
Ask the question plainly
The questions congregations ask each other in the car park, put directly and on the record.
Answer from inside the faith
Rev. Simon Kitusawa has preached for years. The hard questions about the church come from someone who stayed in it.
Say it in the language people use
English and Swahili, teaching and conversation, published where people already watch.
Three subjects, and a rule for each
On the church episodes
These questions are asked from inside the faith by someone who has preached for years, not against it from outside. It is not a service, and it is not a campaign against the church. Guests speak for themselves, and anyone who disagrees is welcome to answer the same questions. Where a guest makes a factual claim about a named institution, we put it to that institution before publishing.
Simon Kitusawa
Host & founder
He is deliberately not the subject of the platform — the people interviewed are.
The Kitusawa Capital Show was started by Simon Kitusawa after years of preaching and teaching that kept arriving at the same questions: what the collection is actually for, whether salvation has to be re-earned every week, and who is responsible for a life once its owner is grown.

Four rules we will not trade away
If a story, a guest or a partnership would need us to bend one of these, we let it go.
- 01
Consent before content
Nothing anyone sends in is published without their written approval of the final version, and it can be withdrawn at any time.
- 02
The person before the point
Someone's hardest year is not an illustration for an argument. The story belongs to them, not to our position.
- 03
Say what we do not know
Where a claim cannot be evidenced, it stays off the page. Numbers appear here only once there is something real behind them.
- 04
Refer, do not improvise
This is not a clinical, legal or financial service. Where a situation needs a professional, we hand over to one.
The channel, briefly
2019
The first sermons go up
Bible fellowship teaching published to YouTube, mostly in Swahili — the oldest material on the channel and the ground everything since argues from.
2021
Grace, in plain language
Teaching turns to the message Rev. Simon Kitusawa is known for: that salvation is finished rather than endlessly re-earned.
2023
The awkward questions
Short, direct videos asking what salvation actually means, whether the tithe is a New Testament requirement at all, and who is responsible for your life after twenty-five.

The Kitusawa Capital Show
The questions move into a studio with guests and episode numbers, opening with what churches would rather their congregations did not hear.
cap·i·tal
noun · /ˈkap.ɪ.təl/
- Money invested or lent in order to make more money. (not what we mean)
- The trust, skills and relationships a community can draw on. Our sense
Despite the name, we are not an investment firm.
Kitusawa Capital does not offer investments, lending or investment management, and does not solicit investment funds. “Capital” here refers to social and community capital. If that ever changes, this page will state the services offered and their regulatory status plainly.
